A picklist is used to pick products from the warehouse based on sales orders received from customers. This guide will help you create a picklist and assign it to warehouse staff for efficient product picking.
Steps to Create a Picklist
- Navigate to the Warehouse Master Module.
- Click on the Picklist option to open the picklist page.
Picklist Creation Options
On the picklist page, you'll find the option "Creation Based On", where you can choose the criteria for creating picklists:
- Sales Order
- Stock
- Transfer Request
- Product
Filtering Sales Orders
To filter the sales orders, click the Filter button and input the following details:
- Sales Order Number
- Customer Number or Customer Range
- Delivery Dates
- Ship-to City
You can also search multiple sales orders by entering multiple sales order numbers separated by commas and then clicking Search. All the sales orders matching the filter criteria will display on your screen.
Selecting and Assigning the Picklist
- Click on the relevant Sales Order Number.
- In the picklist creation column, you can assign a Picklist Number.
- Add a Remark if necessary.
- Assign the picklist to a staff member by typing their name and selecting from the dropdown list.
- Click Create Picklist for a single sales order or select Create Multiple Picklists if managing multiple sales orders.
Viewing and Picking Products
Once the picklist is created, a page will open displaying the picklist details, including the:
- Sales Order Number
- Date
- Created By
Next to the "Created Status" column, click on the three dots button and select Pick Products.
Picking Products
A page will open where you can search for products by barcode. After entering the barcode, the product details will display on the screen, showing:
- Pickup Location
- Product Batch
- Serial Number
Select the product, then click Pick Product. A notification will confirm that the product has been picked successfully, and the picklist status will update to Closed.
